The initial assessment - whether of a specific project or of your IT Department - is a critical aspect of our services and provides immediate benefits. Our associates have assessed literally hundreds of projects, so we've seen a wide range of situations both good and bad. Because of that knowledge base, It's hard for us to be 'snowed'; we dig deep and find out what's really happening so that you can get a true understanding of what you can expect. Often times, it's the first time that our clients have 'seen the light' and realized the difficulties they faced. Some times, we've been able to say 'Good job', give you a few pointers and then go about our business. Either way, knowing is the key to performing well.

Our assessments include in-depth interviews with management and the business staff as well as with the technical people (there's that 'business' perspective, again), as well as process, facility, and documentation reviews as appropriate.

We present the results to you in a familiar fashion, using SWOT analysis (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats), with details to back up our findings. We suggest alternative approaches to dealing with whatever issues we may find, so that you have an understanding of where you are, where you're going, and know something about the way to get there.
