NOTE: As of February 20, 2003, the developer of this utility took Genius off the market (school work got in the way :) The source code is available under the GNU public license. I still use the product, but I'm looking for a replacement.

This is the Swiss Army Knife of utilities, providing a really amazing collection of useful utilities.

The functions are organized into several categories. The Utilities category includes: File Shredder, Clean Temp Directory, Directory Comparison, Grep, and HTML to Text, for example, The PIM category includes such items as: Passwords, Notes, Reminders. Internet Clients include, for example: finger, ftp, ping, telnet, and several others. Internet Tools include: FTP Search, Check Mail, Current Connections, IP Scanner, to name just a few. There's also a Services category with a few more options.

The Passwords function makes it all worth while. You get a password-protected database where you can store user IDs, passwords, or registration information. Better than having to remember all those different web access passwords or writing them all down. The database is encrypted, so -- unless you tell people the password to access the function itself -- no one can readily masquerade as you online.

If you're like us, you'll probably use only a few of the functions on a regular basis, but those will more than provide real value.
